DIY Party Cone Display
A lot of people have been asking me how to make party cones stand up, so I decided to blog a short tutorial on how to make a simple yet effective party cone display. Some of my packages come with cones depending on the theme. You can also order these "a la carte"! Items you will need: Wet Foam - Walmart $4 Lollipop Sticks - Walmart, Michaels or any Craft Store $3 Crinkle - Dollar Store $1 Shallow rectangular baskets - Dollar Store $2 Once you've gotten all the items on the list above, you can start putting your display together. The foam is usually very thick, so i like to cut it in half and then use 2 halves in one basket. 1. Place the 2 half foams into the bottom of the basket side by side. 2. Cover the foam with crinkle, or assorted candy (this can go with your colour scheme) filling the entire surface of the basket. I prefer to use crinkle for better coverage and fluff. 3. Take your lollipop sticks and arrange them by sticking them into the foam. You can do them in a random order or in straight lines, whatever your preference is. 4. Take your party cones and one by one slide them onto the sticks you've arranged and fill with popcorn, candy or your choice of filler. Note: when gluing the cones together, leave enough of a hole at the bottom of each cone to be able to slide onto the lollipop stick. Instructions are also on the sheet when you place your order.
