It’s a Boy! Preppy Whale Baby Shower
Dani Chen, the Event Manager at SPiN Toronto contacted me a couple of weeks ago and said she was planning a surprise baby shower for the Executive Chef at SPiN. This baby was a big deal because he is the first ever 'SPiN baby'. She chose the Preppy Whale Baby Shower Décor since the baby’s name was going to be Hudson, which is reminiscent of the colour blue, water, waves and the Hudson River etc. She didn’t want everything that came with the package, so I was able to customize it by omitting a few items, and adding in additional custom pieces such as matching diaper raffle tickets. The straw flags were doubled up so it looked like “water waves”; gifts were presented in boxes laden with blue tissue paper and finished with favour tags. For refreshments and snacks a juice station was set up along with delicious mini cupcakes finished with cupcake toppers which Dani cut out with a 2 inch circle cutter. A large squared banner over the table completed the look. She managed to snap me a few pics for the blog as well! All the best to Baby Hudson when he arrives!
